Project Overview

CookiMate is a playful meal planning app for Thermomix® users that integrates intermittent fasting and calorie goals.
It automatically generates personalized daily menus based on a user’s fasting window, desired weight, and timeframe — using Cookidoo® recipes.

The project was built as a fast MVP to validate user interest and concept feasibility, focusing on CTA conversion, email collection, and onboarding flow rather than full app functionality.

Problems

User

  • ‍Fragmented experience - Thermomix users jump between Cookidoo, calorie calculators, and fasting apps — no single place brings these elements together.‍
  • Decision fatigue - People spend more time deciding what to eat than actually cooking.

  • ‍Validation-first constraint - The idea needed to be tested quickly before investing in app development.‍
  • No-code limits - The MVP had to rely on a low-cost, no-code stack, while still feeling polished and “real.”‍
